Is this a status challenge? If so, what are the requirements?
The status challenges last for 3 months during which time you must spend a required amount on flights to extend the challenge. Start the challenge after July 1st, 2022 and it gets extended into 2024. Once you meet all qualifications for platinum, you receive Full Choice benefits. Be advised, you are not eligible for a challenge if you have done the status match in the last 3 years.
How long is this status valid for?
For (3) months with opportunities to extend status into 2024.
Who is this status meant for?
Status is for all travelers and anyone that wants the benefits without paying the prices airlines charge.
If I don't travel much, is it still worth it?
Yes, a status upgrade gets you to status benefits quicker than usual so you can combine existing miles with the status upgrade.
What do MQM and MQD mean?
The shorthand represents how many miles someone flies and how much someone spends on those flights: 
MGM = Medallion Qualifying Mile & MQD = Medallion Qualifying Dollar
What are the normal requirements for the Platinum Medallion Status?
75,000 MQMs or 100 MQS AND $9,000 MQDs or waiver
What are our requirements for the Platinum Medallion Status?
18,750 MQMs or 24 MQS AND $2,250 MQDs or Waiver
